The post will encompass responsibilities in each of the areas below:
•Leadership & Accountability
•Clinical Practice.
•Health & Safety
•Education, Training & Development:
•Administration (including personnel, finance)

The successful candidate must:
•Be currently registered with An Bord Altranais nursingboard.ie, preferably hold a certificate in Gerontology and management qualification
•Have up-to-date knowledge of HIQA regulations and current market issues within the Gerontology field
•Have at least three years post-registration experience in the field of elderly care in the past six years
•Have a minimum of at least two years management experience and be willing to work and communicate effectively as part of a team on all levels in a challenging work environment.
